Forged H-Beam Rods

Stage 1: $650 - Good for 800 hp with ARP 8740 rod bolts.
Stage 2: $750 - Good for 1,000 hp with ARP 2000 rod bolts.
Stage 3: $850 - Good for 1,200 hp with ARP L19 rod bolts.

Lextreme is proud to announce the first affordable forged H-beam rods for all Lexus V8 engines. These rods are from the same maker as the Eagle ESP 3-D rods. These rods were produced with exact specifications (big end, small end, center to center along with proper offset and other specs) as the stock 1-3UZ-FE H beam rod style to increase toughness and durability. After 1998, all Lexus V8 engines were produced with small, weak skinny rods that will break with high revs and with forced induction such as a turbocharger, supercharger or NOS.

In the picture, you can see a comparison of the 1-3UZ-FE rods along our forged H-beam rods and you can already see a huge size difference. We only use race proven 7/16” ARP rod bolts (190,000psi). Optional ARP 2000 (230,000 psi) and ARP L-19 (265,000 psi) bolts for extreme horsepower applications are also available. L-19 bolts are recommended for engines exceeding 1,000 horsepower.

If you plan to supercharge or turbocharge your 1-3UZ-FE engine, then these forged H-beam rods are highly recommended since you run the chance of ruining the engine heads and blocks with the stock rods. These forged H-beam rods are rated from 800 to 1,200 hp and are a direct bolt on to the stock pistons. No modification is needed for the piston or crank.
