Forged Pistons

These Forged pistons are now available by Ross Pistons with an 8.5:1 compression ratio. This configuration is designed for turbo applications only. These pistons are made of 2618T61 forged aluminum with strong Ross 4340 Tampered Pins (has a minimum tensile strength of 240,000psi and a 13% greater ductility than standard pins) along with high strength custom rings.

These are essential if you plan on running higher then 13psi on the 1UZ-FE engine or 10psi on the 3UZ-FE engine. These forged pistons are available with compression and overbore size of choice.

Stock pistons can still handle a high powered engine, but you run the risk of blowing your engine after 12-13psi. We offer custom made pistons for any compression ratio and oversize bore along for either Naturally Aspirated (NA) or Force Induced (FI) engines.

• Type of rods: stock or Lextreme lightning rods

• N/A application: .020" overbore and stock compression ratio
• Supercharger: .15" overbore and stock compression ratio
• Turbo (mild): .015" overbore and 9.5:1 compression ratio
• Turbo (wild): .010" overbore and 8.5:1 compression ratio
