If you own a Lexus with a V8 engine and have some kind of forced induction either with a turbo or a supercharger, then you need this upgrade. The stock rods can handle about 450-500 rwhp but they still run the chance of literally breaking on you. If this happens then you will need to replace the entire block which is extremely costly (you can read more about rods here). We are therefore offering forged pistons/rods combo that are rated at 1,200 hp with upgrade ARP L-19 rod bolts. This combo comes balanced with:

• 8 Custom Forged pistons with any compression ratio and bore size
• 8 Sets of performance piston rings
• 8 Performance piston pins
• 8 Lextreme Lightning Forged H Beam rods with coating
• 16 ARP 8740 rod bolts rated 700 hp
• Optional ARP L-19 Upgrade available rated at 1,200 hp

Rods: These forged H-Beam rods are custom made specifically for Lextreme with the ARP 8740 rod bolts which handles 800 hp. However, optional ARL L-10 upgrade bolts are available that can handle 1,200 hp.  No crank modification is necessary. We named these Lextreme Lightning Rods. These rods are custom machined to mate with the stock OEM bearings. They will bolt right onto your stock forged steel crank.

Please let us know your compression ratio and overbore size specifications. This combo is balanced before shipping.  This package is an unbelievable and insane deal at only $1,995 considering that other H beam rods are about $1,500 a set. You are getting high performance quality custom forged pistons to your specs plus steel forged H Beam Rods with the strongest ARP bolts available.

Due to the complexity of Toyota bearings, we highly recommend you call your local Lexus dealer and give them your crank number and rod number to get the proper size bearings. These rods are capable of handling 1,200 hp with ARP L-19 bolts, however, we recommend you coat your rod bearings for higher performance horse power gains. Please allow 8-10 weeks for delivery.
